Contracts have been signed for Bomonti Hotel and Congress Center 31.10.2012

Contract has been signed for Hilton Bomonti Hotel and Congress Center that will be realized with 250 million Euros of investment by IC İbrahim Çeçen Yatırım Holding A.S. and operated by Hilton Worldwide on 31.10.2012 in İstanbul Lutfi Kirdar Congress Center. Hilton Bomonti Hotel and Congress center will start operating in 2013. 
 
Hotel and Congress Center is being constructed right next to the Bomonti Beer Factory in the city center. It includes 829 standard and suite rooms, 4 thousand 500 square meter fitness and SPA area, open and closed swimming pools in its 35 floor tower. In the congress center part of the project, there are 2 ball rooms with a capacity of 2 thousand 500 and 800 people and 32 meeting halls. 
 
When its construction is completed, Hilton Bomonti Hotel and Congress Center will be İstanbul’s biggest city hotel and one of Europe’s 10 biggest city hotels.
 
Researches are going on for restoring the 120 year old historical Bomonti Beer Factory and offer it as a culture-art and entertainment center to the city. Historical Bomonti Beer Factory is located in the same campus with the hotel and congress center. 

 
The project of transforming Bomonti Beer Factory buildings into a culture, art and entertainment center is being held by famous architect Han Tümertekin and its design is being held by GA Design of London; one of worlds most prestigious hotel design companies.

Making a speech in the signing ceremony, Bomonti Uluslararası Kongre Turizm Yatırımları Ticaret A.S Board Vice President Serhat Çeçen stated that they are happy to collaborate with one of world’s leading brands Hilton Worldwide and worldwide known Hilton Hotels & Resorts in hotel operation and gave the following information about the project:
 
 ‘’The biggest hotel and the biggest congress center with accommodation in the center of İstanbul, our facility will also be one of the biggest city hotels of Europe and contribute to Turkey’s 2023 goal of 50 million tourists and 50 billion dollar income. İstanbul is now also attracting world’s attention as a congress city as well. According to ICCA findings, İstanbul took the 9th place in the most popular congress cities list. In IC Holding, we are proud to build İstanbul’s biggest congress center with accommodation with our biggest investment in the tourism field. We are planning to open our center, which will employ nearly 1000 people, in the last quarter of 2013. At the same time, we continue negotiating with investors in order to transform historical Bomonti Beer Factory buildings in our project field into a culture-art and entertainment center by maintaining its unique structural and architectural features. We will be proud to provide such a center to our city as well.’’
 
Simon Vincent: "It will contribute to international conferences that will take place in İstanbul.’’
 
Hilton Worldwide Europe, Middle East and Africa President Simon Vincent made a speech in the ceremony. Vincent said; ‘’We are happy to sign an agreement in order to operate Hilton İstanbul Bomonti Hotel and Conference Center, which will become another milestone in İstanbul,’’ and continued; ‘’Hilton İstanbul Bomonti Hotel and Conference Center is the biggest hotel under construction in the city with the number of rooms and the size of its meeting halls. Hilton Worldwide is present in the Turkish market with 41 hotels some of which are active and some of which are under development since 1955. We are once again standing strong with our new hotel. We are expecting that our hotel will contribute to organization of new international conferences in İstanbul with its conference opportunities in international standards.’’
